SpCas9 mRNA (ARCA, 5mCTP, ψUTP)
This SpCas9 mRNA encodes an optimized version of the Streptococcus pyogenes Cas9 nuclease. Used together with a purified guide RNA (gRNA), it directs site-specific recognition and cleavage of target genomic DNA within the Type II CRISPR-Cas genome editing system. The encoded Cas9 protein carries two nuclear localization signals (NLS) and a C-terminal HA epitope tag, which support efficient nuclear delivery, a higher rate of DNA cleavage, and easier downstream purification.
Designed for efficient in vitro transfection, PreciGenome’s SpCas9 mRNA provides a high-quality, ready-to-use alternative to plasmid- or protein-based Cas9 delivery. Its ARCA-capped, poly(A)-tailed, nucleotide-modified design supports high translation efficacy while minimizing innate immune activation — a research-grade tool for CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, gene knockout, and functional gene-editing studies.
