GFP siRNA LNP Premade Lipid Nanoparticle Kit
GFP mRNA-LNP is a lipid nanoparticle (LNP) containing Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) Positive Control siRNA. LNP can facilitate transfection of encapsulated siRNA into cells or in vivo delivery.
This product utilizes the lipid nanoparticle technology for simple and efficient delivery of siRNA to a variety of mammalian cells, including cell cultures which may typically be prone to difficulties in expressing desired proteins. The LNP’s used are formulated with ionizable lipid, DSPC, cholesterol, and DMG-PEG2000 at optimal molar concentration for a high rate of encapsulation and efficient mRNA delivery.
Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) is a protein derived from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria that emits green light when excited by UV or blue light. The main emission peak for GFP is at approximately 509 nm. GFP is a useful marker for tracking gene expression and transfection efficiency in mammalian cultures.
This product is suitable for research of siRNA delivery, translation efficiency, cell viability, etc.
